1. General Terms

Welcome to OnyxOS. These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of our platform, software, and services (collectively, "Services"). By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. Our platform is designed to be country-agnostic, with specific addendums for local fiscal compliance where applicable.

1.1 Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must maintain the security of your credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

1.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.

2. Addendum for United States Users

For users operating within the United States, the following additional terms apply:

2.1 Sales Tax Calculation

OnyxOS provides tools to help calculate estimated sales tax. However, you are solely responsible for configuring the correct tax rates for your jurisdiction and remitting all collected taxes to the appropriate authorities (state and local). OnyxOS does not remit taxes on your behalf.

2.2 Payment Processing

Payment processing services are provided by Stripe. By using the OnyxOS Payments integration, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.

3. Addendum for Dominican Republic Users (DGII Compliance)

For users operating within the Dominican Republic, OnyxOS includes features to assist with fiscal compliance (Comprobantes Fiscales).

3.1 DGII Integration & NCFs

You are responsible for maintaining a valid sequence of NCFs (Números de Comprobante Fiscal) authorized by the DGII. OnyxOS automates the assignment of NCFs to transactions based on the configuration you provide.

3.2 Reporting Responsibilities

While OnyxOS generates fiscal reports (such as 606, 607, and 608 formats), you account holder are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and submitting these reports to the DGII. OnyxOS is a tool provider and does not act as your fiscal representative or accountant.

3.3 RNC Validation

It is your responsibility to ensure that the RNC (Registro Nacional de Contribuyente) associated with your OnyxOS account is active and in good standing with the DGII.
